Junior Mechanical Engineer

NELSON is currently looking for Mechanical Engineer with zero to five years of experience. Responsibilities Power generation, oil and gas facilities, gas compression, pipelines, and more ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8 Creation of P&IDs HAZOPs or PHAs Material selection Sizing and specifying mechanical equipment Working with lead engineer Calculation checking and other design tasks Conducting facility process surveys, determine bottlenecks, make recommendations Remedy the bottlenecks Performing basic checks like found in API RP 14C and 14E Creating construction scopes of work Working with piping designers to develop drawing deliverables Develop bills of materials Working with and coordinating other disciplines to support the project Creating and maintaining project status reports Maintaining budgets and schedules Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - required Registered Professional Engineer or EIT preferred.
