Bring your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to make a difference in a dynamic high school environment. This contract position, starting as soon as possible and extending through May 28th, places you in a specialized setting focused on behavioral support for students. Located near Independence, Missouri, you’ll be working at the Jacobs Center in a dedicated behavior school.

As an integral part of the school day, your hours will be from 7:30 am to 2:55 pm, supporting students and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Flexibility is essential in this role, as your assignments and responsibilities may shift throughout the year based on student and school needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
• Previous experience working in schools and behavior-focused settings strongly preferred
• Willingness and ability to complete district-specific fingerprinting (fee paid by candidate)
• Ability to adapt to schedule or assignment changes as needed during the school year

Core Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct support and engagement to high school students with behavioral needs
• Collect and document data accurately to support student progress
• Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families
• Maintain a supportive, compassionate, and structured environment for all students
