Cooks/ Cocinero(a)
As a Cook, you'll help prepare fresh ingredients and maintain the quality Tacos La Villa is known for.
Como parte del equipo de cocina, ayudarás a preparar ingredientes frescos y mantener la calidad por la que Tacos La Villa es reconocido.
Responsibilities / Responsabilidades
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes
- Preparar y cocinar productos siguiendo recetas
- Wash, cut, portion, and marinate ingredients
- Lavar, cortar, porcionar y marinar ingredientes
- Prepare proteins, rice, beans, salsas, and other products
- Preparar proteínas, arroz, frijoles, salsas y otros productos
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Mantener la cocina limpia y organizada
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Seguir procedimientos de seguridad e higiene alimentaria
- Restock stations and assist during peak hours
- Reabastecer estaciones y apoyar durante horas pico
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
- Completar tareas de apertura y cierre
Qualifications / Requisitos
- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
- Amable, responsable y con buena actitud de equipo
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–30 lbs
