Key Responsibilities Support daily seafood department operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and rotation Ensure seafood products are handled and stored according to food safety standards Monitor product freshness and assist in removing unsellable items Support and guide department staff during daily operations Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies Qualifications Previous experience in seafood, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations Basic understanding of product handling and inventory processes Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in a supervisory or lead role Familiarity with perishable inventory and food safety standards Experience in high-volume environments Work Environment / Expectations Primarily retail or warehouse environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
