Pathologist Assistant

Tulsa Medical Laboratory (TML) is seeking a Pathologist Assistant who holds a bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical or related health science, and has at least one year of experience working and performing the duties of a Pathologist Assistant, including grossing a range of specimen types from small biopsies to complex cancer resections. Core Job Responsibilities: Perform dissection, gross description, and submission of tissue for microscopic examination and special studies according to departmental protocols Assist in the performance of autopsies (approximately 6 autopsies/yr) Photographic documentation of surgical and autopsy specimens Coordinate with team of Pathologist Assistants and biopsy techs in division and distribution of daily case load No call or weekend duties TML has been in business for over forty years, and is an independently owned pathology group providing full anatomic pathology services for physician groups, clinics and hospitals throughout Northeastern Oklahoma.
