Details IMCU unit with 16-10 beds Patient ratio of 1:4 Patient population includes sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy Administers heparin drips Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling not approved for most units No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospitals required Proven experience managing critical, fast-paced cases in large-scale trauma environments required Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Additional Information Work within a Level 1 trauma center handling complex and high-acuity cases Accepts local candidates at the same rate as the travel rate American Traveler Job ID P-735058.
