What You’ll Be Doing The Behavioral Health Technician works under the supervision of the nursing department and is responsible for the direct care of inpatient and residential patients. Responsibilities include patient supervision and support, providing bathroom and mealtime assistance, and contributing to the implementation of therapeutic programming. The BHT may also be required to participate in on‑call shifts based on business needs. Schedule Part Time, Overnights – 2, 12‑hour shifts per week with alternating weekends (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM). Essential Duties And Responsibilities Milieu management, including maintaining daily program structure and following the program schedule Completing observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by the physician Working with patients on de‑escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan Conducting room and luggage searches Taking patients out on fresh‑air breaks Providing patient transportation as needed for medical appointments (may vary by location and program) Taking patient vital signs, weights, and urine specific gravity (may vary by location and program) Acting as secondary support staff in group therapy (may vary by location and program) Providing meal support and bathroom monitoring Completing documentation of patient observations, meals, and individual check‑ins that occur during the shift Assisting with morning routine and activities of daily living while patients are in the spa or bathroom BHT I Must Haves High school diploma or GED (required) Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (required only for locations that have company vehicles or that drive on behalf of the company) Six months of direct patient care experience (preferred) Mental Health/Psych Tech or CNA (preferred) BHT II Must Haves High school diploma or GED (required) One year of direct patient care experience for new hires (required) Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (required only for locations that have company vehicles or that drive on behalf of the company) Mental Health/Psych Tech or CNA (preferred) Minimum of one year of ERC milieu experience (required for internal teammates only) What We Offer We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous paid time off, parental leave benefits, retirement benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
