Medical Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Mason, OH. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high‑quality patient care. The position is full‑time, Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation working approximately every 6th week.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as directed.
• Administer medications and injections as authorized by the provider.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure exam rooms and medical equipment are clean and properly stocked.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information as needed.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a pediatric clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Work Environment

This position is based in a medical office setting in Mason, OH. The role requires standing for extended periods, interacting with patients, and handling medical instruments and supplies.
