Job Description Perform pre‑trip inspection on equipment in alignment with MPC policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Drive a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport petroleum products safely and efficiently. Obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws; follow MPC and site‑specific standard operating procedures for loading and offloading. Perform post‑trip inspection and complete all regulatory and customary paperwork. Communicate all incidents, safety and environmental concerns, and equipment issues in accordance with company procedures. Follow, maintain, and adhere to all safety rules and operating procedures, including DOT regulations. Physical Requirements Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Work on elevated spaces up to 30+ feet on graded elevation. Frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50–65 lbs. Sit for extended periods of time. Grip a steering wheel for extended periods of time. Qualifications Active Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Maintain a satisfactory driving record and consent to company review. Register with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and consent to review. Ability to drive interstate. Active CDL endorsements: Hazardous Materials and Tank Vehicle (Required). Operate manual and/or automatic transmission. Work up to a 12‑hour AM/PM shift and beyond scheduled hours as needed. Pass required drug and alcohol screening, DOT physical, DOT safety background check, criminal background check, and pre‑trip exam/road test. Benefits Hourly Rate: $33.01 – $34.89.
