Corporate Tax Manager (ASC 740 Provisions) - Relocation Assistance

This position is in-person in Kansas City. Relocation assistance will be provided. Why This Role Matters Join a dynamic and collaborative corporate tax team based in the heart of Kansas City. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional ready to step into a leadership role with a national accounting and advisory firm. You will manage complex tax projects, collaborate with senior leadership, and play a key role in client relationships, all while enjoying a city known for its lower cost of living, vibrant arts scene, thriving culinary culture, and access to outdoor activities and sports. How You'll Contribute Lead corporate tax engagements from planning to execution Manage client relationships, including overseeing tax compliance and consulting projects Supervise and mentor junior staff and conduct performance reviews Oversee ASC 740 tax provision projects and provide audit support Review corporate tax returns and recommend process or compliance improvements Research technical tax issues and develop planning strategies Coordinate with specialized tax teams and national office resources Stay current with industry developments through ongoing training and development What Makes You a Great Fit Bachelor's degree in Accounting Active CPA license or JD with active law license 4-7 years of progressive tax experience Recent experience (within last 1-3 years) in corporate tax and ASC 740 Currently operating at a Manager level Experience supporting large, multi-state or global corporations Public accounting experience with a top 15 firm preferred Proficient in US GAAP and corporate income tax regulations Comfortable with hybrid work model (minimum 3 days onsite weekly) #J-18808-Ljbffr MissionHires
