Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of critical care experience. Details Work in the Critical Care/ICU (CCU) unit of a hospital setting Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum 3 years of critical care experience in a hospital setting Compact license holders must provide verification of suicide prevention training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify Proof of right to work in the United States required Additional Information Provide direct, individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes and monitor for adverse reactions Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy, and IV protocols Monitor and adjust specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and oxygen pumps Interpret and record electronic displays such as central venous and pulmonary artery pressures Initiate patient and family education on illness management and home care needs Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocols Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab work Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
