Nurse Supervisor – Weekend Option With our Weekend Option program, you can earn premium pay while working a weekend schedule. This position requires 7‑3 and 3‑11 shifts every weekend in a supervisory role. Candidates will fill in any holes from callouts as needed. What You’ll Be Doing Supervise the care/services provided by LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other team members who care for the residents. Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all residents are assigned staff capable of providing appropriate care. Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents. Assess the health of residents and notify physicians of changes in status, promptly implementing new orders. Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care. Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications. Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care. Education and Experience ADN or BSN Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing. Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long‑term care setting.
