Program Manager - Learning and Enrichment

Job Title
Under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Learning and Enrichment, provide leadership, coordination, implementation, and oversight of countywide and regional Learning and Enrichment programs, initiatives, and professional learning systems. Support school districts and charter schools through the development and implementation of equitable, high-quality educational programs designed to improve student engagement, academic achievement, expanded learning opportunities, wellness, enrichment, and continuous improvement outcomes.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential, Certificate of Eligibility, or ability to complete the Administrative Services within the first year; Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential; Master's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Three (3) years of experience in educational leadership, program coordination, professional development, grant management, or continuous improvement work; Five (5) years of experience in classroom teaching or direct pupil services; Possess or obtain upon employment, a valid California Driver's License; Provide proof of automobile insurability; Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting twenty-five (25) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance.

Comments and Other Information
Benefits: Employees are provided with an insurance plan, which includes health, vision, and dental insurance for employee, spouse, and dependents, at a shared cost. Participation in this plan is mandatory for employees working 35 plus hours a week. Employee will be a member of the State Teachers' Retirement System (STRS) to which both the employee and MCOE contribute. MCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.
