Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform adult echocardiograms and related diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced cardiology environment. Ensure accurate, high-quality imaging to support clinical diagnoses and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Philips Epiq and IE33 echocardiography equipment to perform 2D, 3D, and strain echocardiograms.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and cooperation.
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment regularly, adhering to unit guidelines.
• Document procedures and findings accurately within Cerner PowerChart and Intellispace Cardiovascular systems.
• Follow safety standards including BLS protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and physicians to optimize workflow and ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Certified as an Adult Echo Technician with ARDMS or CCI certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of adult echocardiography experience.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Philips Epiq, IE33, and EMR systems.
• Show adaptability to a fast-paced environment and flexible scheduling.
• Ability to perform stress and strain echocardiography procedures.
