This role offers a combination of time in the branch and time in the field, allowing you to develop both patient‑facing clinical skills and strong workflow independence.You’ll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and clinical support, playing a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home.Key highlightsHours: 9:00 - 5:30 pm. Flexible schedule; overtime as neededDaily check‑in at the branch with flexibility based on patient needs and hospital dischargesHybrid-style role combining branch responsibilities and field visitsSalary range$32.00-$39.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.On‑Call transparencyOn‑call rotation every 2 weeksMay include responding to urgent patient needs and hospital dischargesWhat you’ll doConduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑upsEducate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenanceAssess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriatelyRespond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needsCollaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teamsMaintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptopSet up and operate respiratory care equipment including oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, and ventilation systemsInspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating conditionPerform clinical assessments such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, and vital signsPerform other duties as requiredWhat we look forRegistered Respiratory Therapist with an active RT licenseAbility to stand, lift, push, and/or pull 10–50 lbsValid driver’s licenseComfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentationAbility to hold multiple RT licenses if covering more than one stateEducationGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCertificates, licenses, registrations or professional designationsCurrent RCP or RRT license in the state(s) of practice (as required)Current CPR CertificationAll applicable licenses in good standingIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.Teammate BenefitsAs an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
