What You’ll Do

• Provide anesthetic support for adult patients during various surgeries including trauma, neuro, ortho, OB, and cardiac procedures
• Support surgical teams with anesthesia care in a Level I trauma hospital setting
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs using EPIC EHR system
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols, including maintaining certifications and licenses
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and perioperative staff to deliver seamless anesthesia services
• Support the hospital’s trauma and emergency response teams as needed

What You Need
Required:

• Missouri state license or willingness to obtain
• NCCAA Board Certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of anesthesia experience, Level I trauma experience required (no exceptions)

Preferred:

• 2+ years of anesthesia practice in a trauma setting
• Experience supporting adult patients with diverse surgical procedures

About the Assignment
This position supports a busy hospital anesthesia department, focusing on a variety of general, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, obstetric, and cardiac surgeries. You will work in a team environment supporting surgeons and perioperative staff, ensuring high-quality anesthesia care for adult patients. The hospital uses EPIC EHR and the role offers a consistent night shift schedule over the contract period.
