Corporate Counsel, Healthcare Privacy

Our client, a respected organization operating in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide practical, business-oriented legal support across a broad range of privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and technology-related matters as relate to federal and state patient and consumer privacy laws.

What You'll Do

• Counsel business stakeholders on privacy and data protection matters.
• Negotiate privacy terms in technology, healthcare, and commercial agreements.
• Advise on privacy risks and compliance for new products and business initiatives.
• Track emerging privacy laws and help shape privacy strategy across the organization.

What We're Looking For

• J.D. and active U.S. bar license.
• 3+ years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).
• Privacy law experience, including HIPAA, CCPA, and CPRA.
• Strong business partnering, communication, and project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

This role has a target compensation range of $125,000 to $145,000 plus bonus and offers a full suite of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match and flexible time off. This is primarily an in-office role in the N. Suburbs of Chicago.
