Job Opportunity: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Generalist
We are excited to announce an immediate opening within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our organization, located at Valleywise Health Medical Center, previously known as Maricopa Medical Center. Our facility is in the process of launching a new 240-bed teaching hospital in collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine. This state-of-the-art hospital will serve as a Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.
Our organization co-sponsors nine residency programs in partnership with the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children’s Hospital, all situated in the heart of Phoenix. This role will involve employment with our multi-specialty group, which consists of over 400 professionals dedicated to patient care and education. The position will play a vital role in supporting the educational objectives of the OB/GYN department's teaching initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage both inpatient and outpatient care with flexibility.
- Perform labor and delivery duties.
- Staff outpatient clinics.
- Conduct gynecology consultations and surgeries.
- Participate in a regular schedule that includes weekend and night shifts.
- MD or DO degree.
- Valid medical license in Arizona.
- ACOG Board-certified or Board-eligible.
