SOS Personnel is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Therapist to serve students at Taos Day School , located on Taos Pueblo in Taos, NM. This is a meaningful, community-embedded role serving Native American students with speech and language needs in a small, close-knit school environment. What you'll do

• Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 13 students (1:1 and small group settings)
• Conduct screenings, standardized evaluations, and audiometric assessments
• Draft IEP sections including evaluation summaries, present levels, annual goals, and quarterly progress reports
• Attend and actively participate in IEP team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support student success in the general education classroom
• Maintain compliance with IDEA timelines, including 60-day evaluation windows
• Develop exit plans for students who have received services over multiple years

8:00am-4:30pm

Requirements

• Active New Mexico Speech-Language Therapist license (required)
• Degree from an accredited institution in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Experience providing services in a K-12 school setting
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with Native American students and/or in Indigenous community schools
• Familiarity with IDEA, IEP processes, and special education compliance requirements
• Knowledge of or experience with Pueblo communities in Northern New Mexico
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
