Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical nursing care to ICU patients, maintaining a 2:1 or 3:1 patient ratio.
• Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment like Impella, GE monitors, and Temporary Pacemakers.
• Perform procedures such as central line and dialysis catheter insertions.
• Utilize Meditech documentation system for accurate patient records.
• Flexible rotating float policy with core staffing team.
• Participate in patient experience enhancement and unit awards initiatives like the Daisy Award.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state.
• Minimum one year of ICU experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale. PALS preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to work 36-hour weekly schedule including night shifts.
• Adherence to dress code: scrubs (any color), no denim, capris, or camo.
