Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to clients in West Bloomfield Township, MI. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their daily lives.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Document care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and families.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful towards clients.
Relevant certifications or training in personal support or healthcare is an asset.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
