Senior Accounting Consultant

Our client, a large public company, is Seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to provide hands-on accounting support during a period of increased workload. This consultant will partner closely with the accounting team to assist with core close activities, reconciliations, and journal entries. The ideal consultant is collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working within a structured public company environment. Duration 3+ months (with potential for extension) Compensation $65-$75 hourly Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. Scope Support core accounting and revenue-related processes, including accounts receivable and cash flow activities Assist with cash forecasting and trend analysis Review customer billing and payment activity, including adjustments and applied credits, to ensure accuracy and completeness Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to collections and revenue timing Prepare both detailed analyses and high-level summaries for finance and treasury stakeholders Provide support during month-end and quarter-end close cycles, including reconciliations and journal entry review Perform analysis on complex accounting entries and supporting documentation Partner with cross-functional finance and accounting teams to meet reporting deadlines and business objectives Qualifications & Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, including reconciliations and journal entries Prior experience supporting or working within a large, publicly traded organization Foundational knowledge of forecasting concepts and financial analysis Strong communication skills with a professional, team‑oriented working style Preferred Experience Exposure to accounts receivable processes and performance metrics Experience supporting cash flow or financial forecasting activities Familiarity with enterprise accounting systems Advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting Interest in or exposure to emerging tools, including AI‑enabled accounting or finance solutions About Sayva Sayva Solutions is an accounting, finance, technology, business transformation and human resources professional services firm whose focus is on long term relationships created through teamwork and doing what is in the best interest of others.
