About Pelican Bay Foundation

Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region.

The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

About the Position  

The Pelican Bay Foundation is seeking a creative, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Communications & Marketing Coordinator (Seasonal) to join our Communications & Marketing team during the Foundation’s peak season. This position provides essential support in developing marketing materials, capturing the Pelican Bay lifestyle through photography and video, and assisting with communications initiatives designed to engage members and showcase the many experiences available within the community.

Working closely with the Communications & Marketing team, this hands-on role combines creativity, storytelling, and organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of marketing principles, a passion for visual content creation, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling digital and print materials.

What You’ll Do  

Marketing & Creative Content Development

• Assist with the development and execution of marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and member engagement efforts.
• Design creative marketing materials including flyers, event promotions, digital graphics, signage and other collateral using Canva.
• Support the creation of visually engaging content that highlights Pelican Bay programs, amenities, events, and member experiences.
• Maintain brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.

Photography & Video Content

• Capture high-quality photography and video at community events, dining venues, recreational activities and special programs.
• Create visual content that tells the Pelican Bay story and supports marketing campaigns.
• Assist with photo and video editing for use across digital communications, social media, email marketing and print publications.
• Maintain and organize photography and video assets for future use.

Communications Support

• Assist with content creation for member communications, including newsletters, email campaigns, website updates and promotional materials.
• Support the preparation, proofreading, and formatting of communications materials.
• Collaborate with team members to gather information, photos, and content from departments throughout the Foundation.

Event & Community Engagement Support

• Attend select community events and activities to capture photos, video and promotional content.
• Assist with marketing support for seasonal events, programs, and initiatives.
• Help showcase the member experience through authentic storytelling and engaging content.

Administrative & Project Support

• Assist with maintaining marketing calendars, project timelines, and shared digital files.
• Coordinate creative requests and support department initiatives.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in marketing, communications, social media, content creation or a related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office Suite , including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Comfortable using photography and videography equipment, including smartphones and digital cameras.
• Experience with photo and video editing software preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative eye for design and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with members, guests, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom or Express).
• Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Experience with website content management systems.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms.
• Experience working in hospitality, lifestyle, recreation, or community-based organizations.

Position Requirements

• Seasonal position supporting the Foundation’s peak season.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and special events as needed.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be mobile throughout the community to capture events, activities and member experiences.
