Analytical Chemist

Job Title Chemist Location Boise, ID Responsibilities Maintain training proficiency on all applicable safety, lab procedure, security, and annual quality related training. Strict adherence to all safety/emergency procedures included in the Chemical Hygiene Plan. Willingness and ability to safely work with hazardous materials and chemicals. Comfort working in Lab and cleanroom Fab settings. Independently lead and/or perform routine and sophisticated operations and maintenance on equipment. Conduct experiments and data analysis to ensure quality of outgoing results data. Candidate must be comfortable performing in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and must possess proficiency and desire to learn and adapt to changes in a dynamic technical environment. Regular writing, accurate documentation, verbal communication, and presentation of results to customers and vendors. Collaborate with customers to see opportunities to improve processes and experiments. Minimum Qualifications BS in Chemistry or other relevant science with applicable experience. ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS. Ion Chromatography, HPLC and/or LCMS; GC and GCMS. Molecular spectroscopy: FTIR, UV/Vis/NIR, RAMAN. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office products, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with LIMS systems. Preferred Qualifications Statistics. Project management.
