Activities Center Member Services Associate
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Member Services Associate at the Orono Activities Center. As the first point of contact for our visitors, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information or direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Process registrations, payments and inquiries related to activities and programs offered at the center.
- Print daily revenue reports and prepare weekly deposits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
- Monitor access to the facility and enforce established policies and procedures.
- Assist in promoting upcoming events and activities.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, payment reconciliation and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the center.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and using office software
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus
- Enthusiasm for promoting recreational and community activities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
