Overview AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to lead out as the Medical Director of Melanoma , Sarcoma with AdventHealth Medical Group in the beautiful Orlando, Florida. Experience in programmatic building within Melanoma Sarcoma would be required. Development and deployment of tumor specific pathways and standards of care as well as the clinical/translational research agenda. Dedicated administrative time. Access to world renown research team, clinical trials, tumor boards. The ideal candidate will have experience and interest with an inpatient/outpatient setting. Rotation of call would be shared with the other oncology physicians in the practice, including weekends. Orlando is the referral center and quaternary hub for our system across the state of Florida and the US. In the Orlando practice it is a team of 6 experienced medical oncologists, 8 APPs, nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc.. Extended network of 6 other medical oncology sites surrounding Orlando.
