Med-Ped Physician

A Med-Peds physician is sought to join a growing practice in Fort Atkinson, situated in the 'Four Lakes Area' of Jefferson County. This employed opportunity involves comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care and inpatient/outpatient pediatrics. The role offers a balanced schedule with direct patient care and administrative time, supported by a collaborative team of internists, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers.

Practice Info

• Join 2 internists, 3 pediatricians, 2 pediatric NPs, and 1 internal medicine NP
• Outpatient only for the adult side, and inpatient/outpatient pediatrics
• 335 births per year

Responsibilities

• Practice the whole realm of outpatient internal medicine care
• Practice inpatient/outpatient pediatrics
• See 15 to 22 outpatient visits daily
• Take 1:4 inpatient call for the pediatric side
• Perform newborn rounding
• Admit pediatric inpatients
• Attend c-sections/high risk deliveries

Shift & Schedule

• Candidates with strong primary care, inpatient management and communication skills are especially encouraged to apply
