• Practice Detail: 7 MDs, 2 NPs, 1 PA, RNs, MAs, experienced office staff

What You Will Do

This is an extraordinary time to join an established team of physicians, dedicated to providing innovative, compassionate care to a growing population. Deliveries will be at the brand-new, state-of-the-art Ascension Seton Women's Hospital. This $320 million, 326,000-square-foot facility is designed exclusively for women and newborns. As a key physician in this new era of care, you will practice in a cutting-edge environment equipped with Level IV maternal care capabilities, dedicated low-intervention birth suites, and advanced surgical technology, all backed by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecological care for women of all ages.
• Provide prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care consistent with best practices and hospital protocols.
• Work collaboratively with midwives, nurses, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
• Document clinical encounters clearly and accurately in the electronic health record (EMR).
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and support community health initiatives.
• Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
