Assistant Manager 1

Assistant Manager Level 1In conjunction with the Store Manager, assists in managing all operational aspects of a store according to company policies and procedures; and ensures the store operates in a manner which optimizes sales and profitability and reflects a consistent Commercial Tire image to its customers.Job responsibilities include ensuring all employees attend monthly safety meetings and comply with company safety goals, training and supervising employees, leading store audits, completing accounting functions daily, coordinating and conducting product knowledge training, maintaining the highest levels of customer service, ensuring all work expected of the location is completed, ensuring adequate staffing based on store volume, championing safe work practices, identifying new sales opportunities, supporting and promoting operational compliance scores, and supporting and promoting Commercial Tire Safety standards.Qualifications required include a valid driver's license and insurable driving record, 2-years related experience in the tire industry, and a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus some college or technical school (preferred).Essential physical and environmental functions include standing 75% of the time, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces, frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping and dexterity, constant visual, auditory, and verbal communication required, frequent exposure to noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditions, occasional work in extreme heat/cold or wet/humid environments, occasional hazards due to mechanical equipment, moving objects, and required to use protective gear (PPE).
