Job Description:

• Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, factors influencing patient flow through the system
• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit
• Evaluate patients' mental health needs
• Write and evaluate treatment plans
• Deliver psychotherapy and other interventions
• Provide personal and supportive care
• Coordinate care with families, physicians and other caregivers
• Collects and analyzes patient and family data for purposes of assessment, diagnosis and management
• Identifies patient outcomes
• Re-examines prior diagnoses and care plans at appropriate intervals for anticipated individual patient outcomes
