Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, while representing our company with professionalism and a friendly attitude.

* Safely transport and deliver products to customers' homes and businesses

* Verify customer orders and collect payments when required

* Navigate efficiently through assigned delivery routes using maps and GPS technology

* Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

* Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members

* Handle and resolve customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner

* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies

* Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel expenditures

* Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly

Qualifications

* Must be at least 18

* Valid driver's license with a minimum of 1 years of driving experience

* Clean driving record that meets company standards (no more than 2 traffic violations within the last 3 years)

* Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for deliveries

* Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with map reading and GPS technology

* Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate different types of terrain, including multi-story buildings

* Strong time management and organizational skills

* Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments

* Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds

* Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road
