• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of and have a certificate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must be currently credentialed by the appropriate state regulatory agency.
• Must have verification card of current instruction in BLS.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience, primarily outpatient experience preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities helpful.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals with medical problems or health-related conditions.
• Implement selected components of patient/client interventions and modify interventions as directed to ensure safety and comfort.
• Obtain data related to the interventions provided and collaborate with the physical therapist for progress assessments.
• Provide patient care in various settings including in-patient, outpatient, and home health.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
