The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking, transactional expertise, and operational execution to lead successful site acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of real estate assets aligned with the company’s long-term infrastructure growth goals.
Manage negotiations and close transactions for a variety of property types, including freehold and leasehold assets.
Serve as the primary interface with brokers, landowners, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform acquisition strategy.
Oversee due diligence, including environmental assessments, title reviews, and zoning analysis, ensuring risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with internal development, legal, and construction teams to ensure seamless transition post-acquisition.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sites across multiple geographies.
Report on acquisition progress, site metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
7+ years of experience in real estate site selection and acquisition, ideally within the commercial or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of property valuation, entitlement processes, and contract negotiation.
Background in large-scale site acquisition, including powered land or complex multi-party deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
Adept at leveraging market intelligence tools and real estate data platforms.
