Our client, a leading manufacturer in the ventilation and specialty products industry, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator 2 to join their team. As a Machine Operator 2, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Burgaw, NC
Pay Range: $19.5
Shift: 2nd Shift (15:30-02:00)
What's the Job?
- Operate a variety of simple one-step or one-process machines to produce ventilation or specialty products.
- Ensure the work area is set up for safety and efficiency, maintaining optimal workflow.
- Monitor the quality of materials and finished parts, recommending corrections to reduce scrap.
- Track daily production and equipment downtime using control sheets and reports.
- Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 months manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, move, lift, and handle materials frequently throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and personal protective equipment usage.
