Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals, guided by physician recommendations. The therapist is responsible for the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate the patient's return to daily activities. The role includes educating patients, families, students, and coworkers while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans focused on discharge progress.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in student programs by supervising students and evaluating their progress.
• Engage in professional development activities, including continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice regulations and maintain professional licensure requirements.
• Understand and follow organizational performance improvement methodologies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active state license for practicing Physical Therapy.
