Responsibilities:
- Assisting our groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and prepping dogs before their appointments
- Learning dog breeds, coat types, and grooming standards and tools as you build hands-on experience in the salon
- Coat conditioning and combing/brushing to prepare dogs for their finish groom
- Keeping the grooming salon clean, organized, and stocked
- Other miscellaneous duties to support the grooming team
Qualifications:
Prior experience with dogs is a plus, whether that's professional grooming or bathing experience, or hands-on experience through ownership, volunteering, or another animal-care job. We'll train the right person on our systems and standards.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role. You'll be on your feet, lifting and safely handling dogs of various sizes throughout your shift starting on day one. You must be reliable and able to demonstrate good performance and attendance in past jobs.
