Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of dedicated CT experience and Level I/II trauma background for a role in a teaching hospital setting.

Details

• Rotates through multiple areas including inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department
• Level I/II Trauma Center setting
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working Monday/Saturday/Sunday
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment (3 or 4) and PACS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification required; ARRT R and BLS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of dedicated CT experience (multi-modality experience not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of dedicated Level I or II trauma experience
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine CT imaging with and without contrast
• Experience with coronary CTA and cardiac calcium scoring preferred
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement

Additional Information

• Performs CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and vascular studies
• May support pediatric acute care and ICU/NICU/PICU patients
• First-time travelers considered if candidate has 3-5 years of general CT experience or 1-2 years in a Level I trauma center
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Scrub color is burgundy, with black permitted on top or bottom
• Local candidates accepted within 75 miles
