Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist - Hand Specialist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for patients with upper extremity injuries.
• Develop personalized treatment plans focusing on rehabilitation of post-operative patients.
• Fabricate and fit customized orthoses for a variety of upper extremity conditions.
• Implement therapeutic exercise programs and manual therapy techniques.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention and home exercise programs.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• Current CA Occupational Therapist license.
• Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) and AOTA Hand/UE Certification.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hand clinic setting.
• Proficiency in using Epic charting system.
