Job Details
This is a CDL A Driver position based in Salem, Oregon, offering a pay rate of $28.00 per hour. This is a temp to perm opportunity with real support from a dedicated TransForce team to help you succeed.
All drivers must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, have at least 1 year of experience, and be at least 21 years old.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $28.00 Per Hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
- Overtime expected depending on business needs
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving a freightliner or F250 pickup and flatbed trailer to deliver materials, primarily hauling pipe, iron fittings, and valves.
- Performing warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and general housekeeping.
- Ensuring cargo is properly secured and within weight limits.
- Communicating with your supervisor throughout the day and validating delivery directions.
- Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
What You Need
- Valid CDL A
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Must have sit down forklift experience
- Smartphone savvy
- Customer service skills with a friendly personality
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
