Requirements
- Current Florida state licensure and ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Experience with GE 1.5T MRI equipment preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar documentation systems preferred
- Able to work independently, adapt to facility protocols, and participate in on-call rotation

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic MRI exams including spine, brain, and breast biopsy procedures following department protocols and safety standards
- Operate and troubleshoot GE 1.5T MRI scanner and associated imaging equipment
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Provide patient care and education before, during, and after imaging studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Participate in unit call coverage and collaborate with the small MRI team to maintain workflow

Job Description
This is a 13-week travel MRI Technologist assignment in Davie, FL beginning 05/11/2026. The role is a full-time, 40-hour/week position on a 12:00–20:30 shift. The technologist will perform a range of MRI studies—particularly spine and brain exams and breast biopsy work—using a GE 1.5T scanner and will document procedures in Meditech. The unit supports a 165-bed facility with a small MRI team; the position requires willingness to take call, follow site-specific protocols, and work independently in a fast-paced hospital radiology environment. One position is available and candidates must hold Florida licensure, ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of MRI experience.
