Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - 7AM-7PM Shift Job Description The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Responsibilities Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process. Provides quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway. Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process. Documentation of the nursing process/pathway must be thorough, concise, accurate, and legible. Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the status of the patient. Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate and safe manner. Implements physician orders as written and ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Education: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor\'s degree in nursing preferred. Licensure/Certification: Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio; CPR certification required. Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred. Job-related skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
