Family Nurse Practitioner

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Dothan, Alabama. The role provides urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services in a high‑volume urgent care setting. New graduates are welcomed. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory illnesses. Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal. Conduct suturing and splinting. Provide general orthopedic evaluations and management. Review x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist). Offer general dermatology care. Address general eye problems. Interpret general EKGs. Execute emergency management skills. Provide general gynecologic expertise. Treat children of all ages. Conduct occupational medicine examinations. Provide telemedicine services. Schedule Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rotating schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off (weekends included). Qualifications Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required. MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcome). DOT certification required or willingness to become certified (cost covered). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite preferred.
