Hotel Sales Director

We're on the lookout for a director of sales committed to helping our busy hotel meet its sales goals. You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to grow occupancy, ADR, and long-term room nights Build and maintain strong relationships with key local demand generators, including: • Construction and trades • Corporate and project-based business • Relocation and housing agencies • Healthcare, education, and government accounts • Actively prospect new business through in-person sales calls, networking, site visits, and community engagement • Negotiate and manage local corporate and project contracts • Collaborate with the General Manager and revenue team to optimize pricing, length-of-stay strategies, and account production • Track and report on sales activity, pipelines, and performance metrics • Position Everhome Suites as the preferred choice for extended-stay travelers in the market Qualifications: • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills • Prior experience in the hospitality field is a plus • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary for business • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with 1+ years in a leadership role • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and sales reporting tools Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 yearly + Benefits & Bonus

Compensation:
$60,000-$65,000 per year
