Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: Active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. Facility features include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. The Emergency Department has 26 beds. Patient ratios are 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity. Equipment includes GE monitors and standard Emergency Department equipment. Patient population includes all age groups. Common diagnoses and treatments include respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and hypertension. Seeking a team player with an engaged and positive attitude. Required education is an Associate Degree in Nursing. Dress code consists of scrubs in any color.
