Employment ConsultantNew Horizons is looking for an Employment Consultant to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals. A Career Coach will work with the individual(s) with exploring personal interests to discover possible career goals, assisting with applying and interviewing, securing transportation to and from work, and assisting with on-site task completion.A successful Employment Consultant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive relationship with the individual(s) they support. The Employment Consultant will need to utilize problem solving, time management, and organizational skills while working with the individual(s) they support.Employment Consultants make a positive difference in the life of the individual(s) and the community.Job QualificationsEighteen (18) Years of Age or olderHigh School Diploma required; 4 years higher education preferredValid Driver's LicenseComplete required training including First Aid/CPR certificationAdditional InformationDrug Test requiredBackground report and driving record requiredTB test requiredWhy Work at New HorizonsPaid training – no experience requiredOpportunities for advancementWork that mattersSupportive leadershipMission Driven Non-ProfitHours40 hours per week
