Registered Nurse, Float - Part Time, Nights

Nursing Position

Under general supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions within the organization, in accordance with established philosophy. Float to all departments, Inpatient, SCU, ED.

Part Time, 48 hours per pay, 12 hour shifts

Every other weekend rotation

Additional pay for BSN

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse Nursing License.
• CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS - approved by the American Heart Association.
• PALS - approved by the American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.

Essential Functions:

• Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.

• Works in a patient care setting where there is potential exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials; and electrical, fire, chemical, physical contact and equipment hazards.
• Fast-paced setting with rapid patient turnover.

• Strength and endurance sufficient enough to perform physically for long periods of time without sitting (four to eight hours). May include: walking; lifting 25 50lbs with or without assistance; bending; twisting; standing; sitting; reaching; stair-climbing and descending.
• Physical dexterity and psychomotor skills to respond adequately and appropriately to routine and emergency patient care needs in an ambulatory setting.
