Newark, DE | $35–$55/Hour (DOE) | Full-Time | Permanent

Our client, an established and rapidly growing electrical contractor serving the Newark, Delaware area, is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join their team. Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
Perform electrical service upgrades, panel replacements, rewiring, lighting installations, EV charger installations, and generator connections.
Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions while ensuring compliance with all applicable electrical codes.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain repair recommendations.
Complete service documentation accurately and maintain a clean, organized work vehicle.
Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Previous residential electrical experience required.
Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Experience with service work, troubleshooting, remodels, and new residential installations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Compensation & Benefits

$35–$55/hour based on experience.
