Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, VA. This position supports the Property Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations of community associations, including coordinating maintenance requests, site inspections, and vendor services. The role involves assisting with resident communications, preparing notices and reports, and supporting board meetings through agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and follow-up on action items. This role also contributes to resident satisfaction by responding to inquiries, resolving routine issues, and promoting a professional, service-oriented environment within the community. Qualifications Ability to support property operations, including coordinating maintenance activities, managing work orders, and conducting basic site inspections. Experience with administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence, organizing records, and assisting with meeting agendas and minutes. Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with residents, board members, vendors, and internal team members. Proficiency with office software and property management systems, and comfort working with modern technology and online platforms. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. Prior experience in property management, community association management, or a related field is a plus.
