Job Summary:
Providing comprehensive nursing care in a busy acute care setting, the Registered Nurse (RN) will coordinate patient assessments, treatments, and education to ensure optimal outcomes. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate patient-focused service.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care aligned with professional standards, including the South Dakota Nurse Practice Act.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory therapies accurately as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and respond promptly to ensure patient safety.
• Document interventions, patient responses, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and post-discharge care to support recovery and self-management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or eligible for licensure reciprocity.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership capabilities.
• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Have a commitment to delivering patient-centered care, with prior acute care experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and safety protocols.
