Product Intelligence Analyst

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive informed decision-making processes, optimize product strategies, and contribute to the overall success of the Product Management Team at Dematic. Dematic requires an experienced Product Intelligence Analyst. This is an analytical and tactical position focused on developing human-readable data flows from myriad sources, which may require adaptation or creation of new processes to collect certain data. This position is the key leader for Product Management data visualization initiatives with high demands on intracompany collaboration. This position would be most optimally filled in North America or EMEA for regular collaboration purposes with teams in these time zones. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $90,400 - $113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do in this Role: * Develop and maintain reporting systems that provide important data and performance indicators related to product performance. * Create visually compelling dashboards for easy consumption of product-related information. * Collaborate with teams from multiple functions to support strategic decision-making processes. * Provide data-driven insights to influence product development, marketing, and sales strategies. * Evaluate the performance of existing products, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. * Work with product managers to assess the impact of product changes on key performance metrics. * Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Management, Manufacturing, Project Execution teams, Product Development teams, Marketing, and Sales, to align product intelligence efforts with overall business goals. * Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical collaborators. * Implement processes for continuous improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting. * Stay abreast of industry standard methodologies in business intelligence and product management. * Monitor competitors' offerings, strategies, messaging, and market positioning. * Analyze data from a variety of internal and external sources for meaningful conclusions with which to drive fact-based decisions * Participate in evaluating and recommending changes in methods or procedures in own area of responsibility. * Directly supports integration of new business systems & tools within the department * Deliver continuous process improvements in efficiency of the department * Assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of new hires * Travel up to 10-15% as needed/required for training, learning, and global collaboration. * Other tasks and duties as assigned. What We are Looking For: Skills: * Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. * Superb communication skills. Able to translate advanced analytics and AI insights into clear, actionable recommendations. These are suitable for both technical experts and non-technical audiences. * Expert in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SAP ecosystems including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and integration with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake. Must have practical experience in developing and maintaining reports with these tools. * Hands-on experience in JIRA * Conversant with M365 software ecosystem including SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps * Applies automation (e.g., Power Automate, AI‑assisted workflows) to improve efficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting * Knowledge of product management principles and understanding of the product development lifecycle. * Familiarity with market research methodologies. * Applying critical thinking to align data initiatives with broader business objectives. * Experienced in using Generative AI / LLMs for data exploration, hypothesis generation, and automated insight summarization for business use. * Able to critically assess and validate AI‑generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, and business applicability. * Solid understanding of the role of human‑in‑the‑loop decision‑making when using AI in enterprise analytics. * Familiar with data quality, bias considerations, and explain-ability requirements related to AI‑driven insights. * Experience using AI‑enabled analytics features within tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Microsoft ecosystem services. * Diligent and capable of managing complex datasets. * Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. * Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. * Exhibits business-focused behaviors of understanding business and customers, delivering solutions, and achieving results. * Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations. * Well-versed in global environment including North America & EMEA and adept in cross cultural team functioning * Good communicator and must have a good command over English - written and verbal * Proficient customer-facing skills * Knowledge and ability to identify and develop the proper team skills required for the successful implementation of the various process initiatives. * Ability to cause team and organizational action to mitigate scope, schedule, and cost concerns both internally and with customers. * Capable of personally governing healthy work-life boundaries * Demonstrates KION Core Values of Integrity, Courage, Collaboration and Excellence. * Exhibits people-focused behaviors on taking ownership, embracing change, and fostering communication. Education: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business or Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. * Relevant certifications in business intelligence or data analysis preferred. * Project Management PMP certification highly valued Experience: * 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role. * Experience in the product management or technology industry is a plus. * Experience of working in a globally distributed team highly valued. * Successful demonstration of knowledge of key responsibilities as presented above. #LI-DP1
